Alfie is a sweet, well-mannered, playful spirit with an affectionate personality. He has plenty of energy for adventures and absolutely loves going for runs, but once he’s worn himself out, he’s happiest curled up in a cozy bed—or even better, snuggled up in the big bed with his favorite person. Alfie is friendly with both people and other dogs, although he can be a little shy at first before quickly warming up.

- House Training: Working on it. Alfie goes potty outside but does not yet alert when he needs to go, so a consistent routine will help him continue to succeed.

- Sleeping: Enjoys his dog bed but would much rather sleep in the big bed with his person.
- Food/Toy Aggression: None
- Car Rides: Enjoys riding in the car.

❤️ Alfie’s Personality
Alfie spent much of his previous life living outdoors, so he’s enjoying learning all about the comforts of being an indoor family dog. He loves stretching his legs with a good run, then relaxing on a soft bed afterward. He’s a respectful, affectionate boy who enjoys being close to his people and is eager to please.
While he’s still polishing his house-training skills, he’s making great progress with a consistent schedule. Alfie also doesn’t understand that cats don’t appreciate being chased, so he’ll need a home without feline friends.

Alfie is a well behaved boy with a lot of playful energy. His previous home kept him outside, so while he loves going for runs (not walks), he also adores collapsing in a soft bed once he’s tuckered out. He’s very shaky on potty training, but does his business outside, if his human keeps up with taking him out. He lacks understanding of feline body language, and doesn’t get why they don’t want to play with him, a home without cats would be ideal. Alfie is cute and respectful, and is eagerly awaiting his new home! Adoption Fee: $250

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
