Adoptable Mix Pollo absolutely loves everyone and has never met a stranger! All the people she meets are viewed as her new friends. She’s good with other dogs, likely big or small, and has been fine with children of all ages. It’s unknown as to how she would react to cats.
Pollo enjoys her walks. She gets excited to see the leash and runs to the door. Although she loves to go for a walk, she does need some practice at heeling as she will pull a bit and let the excitement take over. Her foster mom does qualify her as “good” on her walks despite this slight oversight on Pollo’s part!
Since coming to Low Rider, Pollo hasn’t had a single accident in the house. She even knows how to use the doggie door. Crate trained, she does fine but isn’t a huge fan. At night she’s been sleeping with her foster parents and loves to snuggle up under the covers. During the day, she naps in her doggie bed.
Pollo loves playing with her toys and shows no aggression if you try to take it from her. There have been no signs of food aggression either.
In our care she has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Spay or Neuter, Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication.

Pollo is such a lovely and sweet girl. She is a velcro dog, she enjoys following you around the house. She is okay when left alone with other dogs and people in the house. She likes playing with her toys. Pollo doesn’t see anyone as a stranger. She feels they are her new friends, there to pet her. Pollo would be great with a family with children over the age of 6. She is active, so having another dog friend would be great. She would enjoy a yard to play in. Anyone who adopts Pollo will fall instantly in love with her! Adoption fee $250

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
