Adoptable Dachshund Pair – Lola and Ellie

Meet Ellie & Lola, Double the Dachshund Delight! Ellie is the little one and Lola is the big one but both are 4 years old.

Looking for twice the love, fun, and snuggles? Ellie and Lola are a bonded pair of four-year-old Dachshund gals who are ready to steal your heart!

These sweet-as-pie sisters are full of personality and energy. Like typical Dachshunds, they’re headstrong and chatty, especially when meeting new people. They’re working hard on their manners; learning not to jump up, to respond to their names, and to stay “out of the kitchen” and “go to your bed.” They’re treat-motivated and smart, and with continued consistency, they’ll keep blossoming.

Here’s what they love:

• Chasing backyard lizards or bunnies like it’s their job

• Snuggling with their human

• Burrowing into dog beds (Ellie especially loves a cozy den!)

• Sleeping in their kennel at night

They’ve never shown aggression and are total sweethearts, but still working on not chewing their beds (we’re looking at you, Lola!). Furniture? Not a scratch; they stick to their own stuff.

Ideal Home:
These girls are talkative, so a house would be best, ideally with a fenced-in yard for zoomies and lizard patrol. They have tons of energy, so daily walks are a must. They haven’t lived with cats, but given their prey drive, supervision would be key. They’ve been around kids (ages 6–9) in a previous home and did well.
