Meet Adoptable Mix Marilyn! Marilyn is 6 years old, weighs approximately 17 pounds, and cannot wait to meet her forever family. She is the happiest little pup with an outgoing personality and loves to stay active. She loves to spend her days basking in the sun, running and rolling around the yard, taking walks, and even going on short hikes. Marilyn will make an amazing companion for her forever family!
Marilyn loves other small dogs and loves cuddling up with them and being as close as possible. She would absolutely love to have a small dog friend in her forever home. She is a bit fearful of dogs that are significantly bigger than her, though her experiences with bigger dogs have been limited to seeing them on walks so we are not sure how she would react being introduced to one.
Marilyn has not been around cats since coming to the rescue so we are unsure of how she would do in a home with cats. Marilyn has done well around older children but we would recommend her to go to a home without younger children as loud noises and sudden movements seem to scare her.
Marilyn loves going for walks and does very well on leash. Marilyn is also completely house-trained! We are unsure if she is crate-trained, as she has not needed to be crated since coming to her foster home. Marilyn has shown no food or toy aggression since coming to her foster home. She is not a big barker at all. She also shows no signs of separation anxiety, she doesn’t mind spending some time apart from her human. She is a wonderful pup with great manners!
Vetting and Medical
In our care, Marilyn has received all of the following: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Spay or Neuter, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication, Major Dental (cleaning and removal)

Adoptable Mix Marilyn – 6 yrs, 17 lbs
Marilyn loves lounging in her dog beds throughout the day but prefers snuggling up under the covers in the big bed at night. Marilyn’s ideal home will be a home with an adopter who lets her sleep in the big bed each night! Marilyn doesn’t mind car rides at all and prefers to be in the backseat for her adventures. Marilyn is a bit shy at first when it comes to meeting new people, but she warms up very quickly. She seems to be a lot more comfortable around females as opposed to males, but she doesn’t mind males at all. She’s super friendly when it comes to meeting new small pups but is a little nervous around larger pups. She’s hoping for a small dog sibling! Adoption Fee $250

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
