Adoptable Mix Bruno is a 12 year old sweetheart, weighing in at approximately 15 pounds. He is a super loving senior pup looking for an amazing home to spend his golden years in!
Bruno is gentle and loving. For a blind dog, he climbs stairs to the couch and bed. He lets you know when he wants to get down. Loves to be outside and sunbathe so the best forever home should have a backyard and a doggy door would be great for him. Bruno wants to cuddle and once he warms up he gives kisses. He s house trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. He is friendly to his foster brothers.
Bruno does well with small dogs and has gotten along with all of the other small pups in his foster home. Bruno has not been exposed to larger dogs, cats, or kids since coming to the rescue so we are unsure how he would do with any of them. Because he is a very relaxed senior pup, we do think he would be okay in a home with older children who are respectful of dog boundaries.
Bruno enjoys his walks and does well on leash! He is fully house-broken and he is crate-trained as well. He enjoys lounging around on the dog beds throughout the house during the day, but prefers the big bed and snuggling up with his human at nighttime! A forever home where he is able to continue sleeping in the big bed would be his idea of perfect!
Bruno enjoys car rides and does well in the car. He is friendly when meeting new people and new pups alike! Once he is comfortable with people, he is a cuddler and a kisser. Bruno shows no signs of separation anxiety, he doesn’t mind being away from his people for a bit. He has shown no signs of food or toy aggression while in his foster home, this little guy is sweet as can be. He is not a big barker either. He loves to be outside and sunbathe, so a home with a fenced in backyard where he can spend a lot of time would be ideal for him!
While he is blind, he does not let that slow him down. He has learned to use the stairs to get on the couch and the bed and does great with this and will even let you know once he is ready to be put down. It seems his sense of hearing has been heightened as a result of being blind, so he is as smart and attentive as can be!
Vetting
In our care, Bruno has received all of the following: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Nails Trimmed, Major Dental (cleaning and removal) Bruno is blind but very attentive to sounds.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
