Adoptable Mix Dingo is an adorable pup! Dingo is approximately 6 years old female and weighs in at a whopping 8.5 pounds. Dingo is a small girl with a big heart for her humans and she can’t wait to find her forever home!
While in her foster home, Dingo has not had much interaction with other dogs. When she has met other small dogs, she will politely sniff them and then prefers to keep it moving. The only time she met a larger dog, she seemed a bit frightened. We think Dingo will do best as an only dog or with another small, low energy dog in the home.We are unsure how Dingo would do with cats. We are also unsure how Dingo would do with children, but we think she would do well with older children who know how to properly interact with dogs.
Dingo loves walks! She is great on leash and really enjoys getting some exercise, but also enjoys getting picked up and carried after a while! Dingo is house trained. Dingo has had minimal crate experience in her foster home and tolerated it. Her foster mom says she does great when left alone in the home, so she has not needed to use the crate often. Dingo loves her dog bed and prefers sleeping in her own bed, in the same room with her people. She has shown no food or toy aggression while in her foster home. She does not bark often and has not shown any signs of separation anxiety.
Dingo enjoys car rides and enjoys meeting new people! She can be shy for a few minutes, but gets over it quickly and begs for pets and belly rubs wherever she can get them. Dingo has been friendly while meeting new dogs, but prefers to give a quick sniff and get back to her humans. Dingo is definitely more interested in people than in other animals.
In our care, Dingo has received the following: Vet Check, 1 or more vaccines, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Spay or Neuter, Skin treatments for infection, Nails trimmed, Heartworm testing and medication, Major dental (cleaning and removal).
Adoptable Mix Dingo – 6 yrs, 8.5 lbs
Dingo loves sitting in her human’s lap, loves going for strolls, and she listens to commands very well. She even allows you to clip her nails and brush her teeth with no problems. Her foster mom also says she does not shed. She is extremely easy-going and has so many amazing qualities that will make her the perfect pup for her forever family. Important to note, Dingo has color dilution alopecia. This simply means she has patches of thinned out hair throughout her coat. This is a permanent condition, but does not affect her health at all! It just makes her a little more unique. Adoption fee $250

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
