Meet Doxie Mix Harley! Harley is 3 years old, weighs approximately 20 pounds, and cannot wait to meet his forever family. Harley is an easy going super sweet little pup just waiting for a warm lap, a safe home, and hopefully a fenced in yard to enjoy.
Harley gets along with other smaller dogs, though we are unsure how he would do around dogs significantly bigger than him as he hasn’t been around any since coming to the rescue. We think Harley would do great as a solo pup or with another small laid-back pup or two. We also are not sure how Harley would do with cats and young children as he has not been around either since coming to the rescue. Harley does great around older children who are understanding and respectful of dog boundaries.
Harley is a very well-trained little guy! He enjoys walks and does great on leash. He is fully house-trained and he is crate trained as well. His crate is his safe space and he will often go in on his own just to rest. He is also used to sleeping in his crate at night but we think he would absolutely love an adopter who would let him spend the night snuggled up with them in the big bed! He loves sitting in his person’s lap and could spend all day cuddled up. He has shown no food or toy aggression since coming to the rescue. While he definitely prefers to be with his people, he does well being left alone and doesn’t mind spending some time apart from his people.
Vetting and Medical
In our care, Harley has received all of the following: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Skin treatments/ infections, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication

Harley enjoys car rides, especially when he is cuddled up in someone’s lap. He’s not a huge fan of the travel crate as he much prefers being in someone’s lap or being restrained with a doggy seatbelt. He is a very friendly pup and enjoys meeting new people and new dogs. He loves naps, sunbathing in the backyard, and getting belly rubs! Harley will make an amazing addition to his forever family. $300 Adoption Fee

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
