Meet Dachshund Peanut! Peanut is 9 years old, weighs approximately 12 pounds, and cannot wait to meet her forever family. Peanut is the sweetest, happiest little dog who cannot wait to add so much love to her forever home! She will make the perfect companion for her future adopter.
Peanut does great with other dogs, both big and small! She is a very friendly dog and enjoys the company of other dogs. She has welcomed other foster dogs into her foster home with open arms and shows them the ropes. Peanut also does great with cats. When it comes to children, Peanut LOVES all children and does great with them! Peanut would do well in a variety of homes.
She does well on leash and loves going for walks. Bonus points, Peanut is also completely house-trained. When it comes to the crate, Peanut has not used the crate since coming to her foster home so we are unsure of how she would do. She has not needed to be crated because she does so well when given free roam of the home when her people aren’t home. She has not shown any signs of food or toy aggression while in her foster home. Peanut shows no signs of separation anxiety and she is not a big barker at all.

In our care, Peanut has received all of the following: Vet Check, Dental Exam, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication

Beautiful girl, Peanut loves spending her days lounging around in the dog beds, but prefers spending her nights in the big bed with her humans. Her ideal home would be a home where she is able to spend her nights snuggled up with her people. She enjoys car rides and loves meeting new people and new dogs! Even though she is a very low maintenance dog, she does love her people and would prefer a home where someone is home a majority of the time just so she can get all of the love her little heart desires. Adoption fee $250

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
