Marshmallow and Turkey are two adorable dachshund mixes. (Pumpkin has been adopted.) They were named by the 4 year old child in their foster home, inspired by upcoming holidays!
Their mother is approximately a 15 pound dog and also a mix. These beautiful babies are now almost 14 weeks old. *They are estimated to be between 10-16 pounds as adults. Marshmallow is a female and Turkey is a male.
Marshmallow – 13 weeks
Marshmallow is a typical, happy and loving little puppy. She loves to run and play. Marshmallow is super fond of food and enjoys eating! Marshmallow likes other dogs and enjoys playing with the dachshunds in her foster home.
Turkey – 13 weeks
Little Turkey is the sweetest puppy! When he was just a few weeks old, he got very sick because his de-wormer medicine didn’t work right. It interfered with his growth and made him very ill. Fortunately, his foster mommy works at a veterinarian office and was able to get him right in. They treated him and she patiently and dilligently nursed him back to good health.
This boy learned to be a BIG CUDDLER in the process. He is doing very well and growing stong and now ready to find his forever family!
Marshmallow and Turkey
These delightful and beautiful puppies will be a wonderful addition to most any home. They have been around young children (supervised) and a variety of dogs. They are young enough that they will require training, patience, and lots of love and cuddles!
Marshmallow and Turkey Pups – Both are super curious about the world around them and are learning fast! They have been dewormed and have had their first round of shots. It will be the responsibility of the adopters to follow up with a vet to finish vaccines and schedule spay according to vet recommendations. We require it within one year. They may be adopted together or separated and will adjust quickly.
Marshmallow and Turkey are ready for their forever homes. Adoption fee is $350 per puppy and adopter will need to follow up with additional required shots and spay/neuter according to your vet schedule. Adoption application located below.
ADOPTED – Pumpkin – 10 weeks, 4.5 lbs.
Pumpkin is a typical sweet, busy, playful puppy. She loves to use her voice, now that she has found it. Pumpkin likes other dogs and enjoys playing with the dachshunds in her foster home.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
